Don't ever feel compelled to rush your work. I thought that...because the story within the prologue of my comic came out so well, the rest would flow smoothly - but instead of a perpetually flowing river, I kept hitting dam after dam. Only after working on multiple drafts for the next issue did I realize what the true identity of my series was to be....what would make it unique. It also made me realize that it needed a different title. Now that I see its full potential....I wish I would have waited. But all is not lost. I have a new title, and I know what the series needs to be. I will also be moving to a new website under a new name. Honestly, I feel blessed to have caught on this early. I would have really sucked to realize all this like 10 issues in. But yeah, never rush your project. It might take time before you have a eureka moment and realize what you want your project to be.

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while so here's what I've been planning and working on. Long story short: "Going for more professional re-organization of my Toa'tak project". Plans for 2021 - New Website. So my current website provider is not ideal for the things I want to do such as hosting comics and lore. It's kinda ironic how it is such an easy tool to use and yet be so limiting with what I can do. My plan for this is simply to hire a website designer to help me out. No ETA on that at the moment. - Youtube Channel. A friend of mine had an idea about using Youtube to provide an alternative way to bring attention to my comic. I thought about creating such a channel for lore purposes. Another friend of mine might narrate. No other details at the moment. -Webcomic. I finished a second draft of the storyboard for the next issue and set up the pages digitally. All that's left is to draw it. Issues will be a lot shorter than the prologue (15-20 pages), however, no release date at

Hey everyone! It's been awhile! I got out of boot camp a little over 3 weeks ago, and even though I had internet access right after I left, I wasn't ready to write to you all yet. Right now I'm in Tech School and I only got a couple weeks left. I can't wait to resume my work on the comic again! Boot camp helped me grow as a person in a lot of ways. While there I thought a lot about my comic and envisioned what it could become. Most creators out there want their work to stand out from all the rest....not an easy feat. I don't want to stand out for the sake of standing out. I want my work to have meaning. I already laid down the proper groundwork with the Prologue...now I have to keep the momentum going with Issue One. It took the hardships of boot camp to reset my way of thinking and help me figure out how to approach the next phase. Anyway, I won't bore you all with details, just know that sometime next month, you'll be seeing samples of what's next for Echoes of the Toa'tak. Please
